Close Care Cymru provides 24 hour residential care for people with learning difficulties between the ages of 18 to 64 through encouragement and empowerment. We also provide Domiciliary Care and run supported living schemes across Carmarthenshire, Swansea and Neath and Port Talbot. We promote independence both within the home and the community in order for people to gain fulfilment in their lives and reach their full potential.

Close Care Cymru Ltd was established in 2006. The company is family and friends orientated. Through this, we are able to provide a happy and enjoyable atmosphere in which to live in. We provide extremely high quality accommodation within community settings.

 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • To provide an opportunity for adults with learning difficulties or those who require assistance at home, to acquire and maintain skills which are developed through their Individual Care Plan (ICP) that will enable a Service User to lead a more independent life within the community and at home.
  • To offer each Service User the choice, whenever practicable, to make daily decisions regarding every aspect of their lives.
  • To provide the required degree of support as and when required without the intrusion for the individual's need for privacy and dignity.
  • To offer a home lifestyle that promotes and atmosphere which is relaxing, comfortable and conducive to learning.
  • Where neccessary, to discourage inappropriate behaviour that may hinder a valued life within the community.
  • To facilitate integration into the local community and provide suitable work placements whenever possible.
  • To encourage Service Users to maintain existing relationships and to develop new ones.
